I’m a 3rd year medical student at the University of Southampton. I have always been interested in sport, previously more on the performance side, where I have competed at national level in Athletics and completed the AASE programme. I also played Rugby and Basketball at a lower level. Injuries I sustained during this time and interactions with those that helped my recovery sparked an interested in SEM. Since undertaking my medical studies I have looked more into this area and recently undertook a 3 week elective at the Thessaloniki MSK SEM Clinic.
