I am a foundation doctor based in East Sussex, having graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2022.
Sport has been part of my life since an early age, and this continued into medical school, where I was introduced to Sports and Exercise Medicine (SEM). I studied for an iBSc in SEM, and conducted research in judo and other martial arts. I have since been able to publish and present some of this work internationally, including at the 7 the ECOSEP Congress in Athens. I was also lucky to spend my elective with SEM doctors between Mile End/Whipps Cross Hospital, Thessaloniki (Greece), and Isokinetic London/Bologna.
I continue to enjoy cricket (particularly watching the Indian Cricket Team), rugby, and basketball, as well as learning more about the medical side of sport, and the role of exercise in healthcare. Above all, I am grateful for how those at ECOSEP have helped me during my studies, and I look forward to working with them to help others going forward.
