I am a final year medical student at Imperial College London and I completed my preclinical degree at St Peter’s College, Oxford. I also have a background in athletics. I have competed and medalled nationally in the triple jump and also taken part in a variety of other sports including netball, basketball and rowing at club, county and regional levels. I developed an interest in Sport and Exercise Medicine in part through (unfortunately) sustaining and consequently learning about a variety of different sports injuries in my lifetime and also due to my passion for promoting exercise and physical activity therapeutically for both prevention and cure of disease. I hope that during my time as Chair of ECOSEP medical student committee I can help to raise the profile of SEM within both the healthcare community and the general public. In my spare time I also enjoy cooking, singing and drawing.
