The European College of Sport & Exercise Physicians (ECOSEP) are hosting its second “Sport & Exercise Medicine (SEM) Trainee Conference” on the 22nd and 23rd of November 2014 at the Robin Brook Centre, St. Bartholemew’s Hospital, London. After the success of the inaugural event, we have expanded this year’s conference to a capacity of 130 delegates and are positive that these tickets will sell out fast.
The conference is open to those from all backgrounds interested in SEM – mainly Medics, Physiotherapists and Sports Scientists at both an Undergraduate and Newly Qualified stage in their careers.
The two day conference will be a highly interactive event showcasing not only keynote lectures from the best in the business but also practical workshops to arm you with the essential skills to kick start your career in SEM. On Saturday keynotes will be presented by professionals in various SEM disciplines including the England Football Doctor and Physio, a Premier League Agent and Professional Footballer to give their views on the importance of SEM and the inside info on how to make sure you get that training post ahead of your peers! Satuday will also host workshops that take you through the anatomy, mechanism of injury, hands on practical assessment and then rehabilitation of various common sports injuries.
On the Sunday all delegates will have the opportunity to have hands-on experience of common diagnostic and treatment modalities, including ultrasound scanning, shockwave therapy, manual therapy and injections. Don’t miss out on a fantastic weekend of lectures and workshops delivered by a great line-up of SEM professionals working at the top end of elite sport in the UK.
