06 Apr Dr Alkis Kalliakmanis
Kalliakmanis Alkis is Greek Orthopaedic Surgeon, expertise in Sports Medicine. He trained in Orthopaedic Surgery in Athens National University, Greece and his PhD was focused in experimental ACL reconstruction.
During his scholarship and fellowship, he was expertise in arthroscopy and sports injuries treatment. He was visitor doctor in ICATME Dexeus Hospital in Barcelona and post graduate educated in scope techniques.
He is awarded for oral presentations in domestic and international congresses and received commendation for outstanding scientific work among the twenty top-cited articles published in the Arthroscopy Journal.
He is certificated of attendance of many sports medicine courses.
He is member of many international scientific societies and board member of the European College of Sports and Exercise Physicians.
He currently works as sports physician for football teams (consecutive 11 years).
His main interest is in arthroscopy of joints and diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries.
